Brazilian lemonade is just limeade with condensed milk. It is so fresh and unique. As the name implies, this originated in Brazil. You actually just blend the whole limes with the other ingredients instead of squeezing out the juice, which is so cool. It is really creamy and the perfect trending summer drink. It literally resembles horchata with a bittter aftertaste and is so easy to whip up.
This drink is so creamy and refreshing! It has a slightly bitter aftertaste but is mostly sweet. This is due to the fact that the whole limes are blended so all the bitter stuff is included. After you blend the ingredients, strain it for a smoother finish. This is technically a limeade but it’s still called a lemonade.
You can also add fruits for a sweeter touch. I used grape but strawberries, pineapple or mango could be a really fun addition to this recipe. It’s best to add any extra ingredients at the blending stage, then just strain everything and you’re good to go. I love to serve this Brazilian lemonade over ice but you can also just refrigerate it before serving. Leftovers are good for up to a few days. Store in a pitcher and serve cold always since it has milk!
