Tangerine mango iced tea

by Effy A

Iced tea is my favorite drink can you tell? I’m currently in Ghana where it is summer all year round so I was craving something chilled. This tangerine mango iced tea is so refreshing and tastes like juice. All you do is blend the fruits mentioned with chilled tea and sweetener and then strain it into a smooth drink.

I use red mangoes since that’s what is usually available near me. You can use any tea to be honest. I used yellow Lipton tea for this recipe and it was amazing. You can experiment with green or black tea for a cool twist. You can also play around with the syrups you use as sweetener. We have recipes for strawberry syrup, ginger syrup, lavender syrup on the blog which could make a fun flavor palette. Honey or granulated sugar is the next best alternative if you don’t want to make a syrup. If you don’t strain this juice, it ends up tasting like a smoothie which is also yummy.

This tangerine mango iced tea has hints of citrus but is sweet thanks to the mango. You’ll love adding this recipe to your roster of drinks this festive season. Happy drinking!
