This ginger beer appletini is a spicy twist on the classic apple martini, also known as an appletini. It is perfect in the colder weather becuase it warms up the soul and is so great for chilling in cooler climates. Since I traveled, I’ve been craving this gem lately. This appletini is so refreshing and an overall fufilling experience to make for yourself or a good friend. The ginger beer sounds very random but it really kicks up this recipe up a notch!
Please note that ginger beer is not to be confused with ginger ale! Ginger beer is used in tons of cocktail recipes including Moscow Mules, Dirty Shirleys and Dark n’ Stormy. This cocktail recipe is one of the first few original recipes from when I launched the blog years ago. Combined with the vodka, this appletini is bittersweet with lots of gingery aftertastes.
You will need a cocktail shaker or mason jar to shake up the ingredients of this ginger beer appletini comfortably. Shake all the main ingredients over some ice for at least 10 seconds.
