Gluten-free edible cookie dough

by Effy A

Are you one of those who can’t resist tasting your cookie dough before it gets baked? Then this edible cookie dough made with oat flour is for you. This dough was so delicious; it is just as tasty as a bowl of unbaked cookie dough.

Regular edible cookie dough uses heat-treated flour which is heated in the microwave for a minute to remove any germs. Oat flour is one of the gluten-free options out there. Other types of gluten-free flour include rice flour, buckwheat flour, cassava flour, corn flour, almond flour and coconut flour.

To get the oat flour, I simply pulsed this in a food processor until I got a fine flour out of it. Firstly, whisk the butter and sugar together. Next goes in your vanilla extract and milk. Then you whisk in the oat flour. Add in sprinkles if you feel like it! This recipe is so incredible and lasts a while in the fridge.
