Pistachio frozen yogurt bites

by Effy A

These frozen yogurt bites were totally made last year but I didn’t get time to upload it on the blog! But this year, I was determined to get the recipe ready for a Hocus Pocus themed month. I made this entirely out of plain yogurt, maple syrup and crushed pistachios. I separated it into two bowls and colored one bowl with red food coloring.

These are really yummy and are ready in under 4 hours. I bought these spooky Halloween mold trays from Amazon which are so dear to my heart. All you need are crushed pistachios. I used a rolling pin to crush the whole pistachios. Alternatively, you can process the pistachios in a food processor. Then you mix with the pistachios, maple syrup and plain yogurt. Freeze it for about 3 hours but I don’t recommend going over 5 hours because it will get too frozen. I added sprinkles and shimmer to the frozen yogurt bites to make them stand out so go wild with the decorations.
