Making this avocado coconut sauce is a piece of cake and that is why it is featured in my holiday cook, Cozy Delights: No-brainer Comfort Food. It is so creamy thanks to the coconut milk and is great on anything savory. This fresh tasting dipping sauce makes it really perfect for patio season when finger food is in high demand. You could use it as a dip for your fries or wings.
To make this avocado dipping sauce, blend the following ingredients in a high-speed blender until it gets super smooth:
- ripe avocados, peeled and pitted
- coconut milk
- dried chives
- cayenne pepper
- table salt
- lime juice
That’s literally it; that’s the whole recipe for this avocado dipping sauce. It is so easy but wholesome and delicious! I daresay that this is even better than guacamole! It is a great accompaniment for all the finger food you have planned out in the hotter months.
This creamy avocado dipping sauce lasts for about a day in the fridge, but doesn’t look very appealing, in my opinion. The color gets brownish overnight so make this on the day you want it served. You can use this not just in your tacos, but also your burritos, nachos or as a dipping sauce. So don’t be afraid to serve this generously because leftovers are not ideal. Enjoy!
