This apple Snickers salad has been going viral on my Instagram feed lately so I decided to make it. It consists of chopped Granny Smith apples, Snickers chocolate bars, whipped cream and caramel sauce. Some recipes also add instant pudding to the whipped cream so that could be fun if you want it sweeter. I’ve seen people use Greek yogurt instead of whipped cream for a healthier version.
First step is to chop your apples and Snickers chocolate into chunks. I whisked my whipped cream from scratch, so I used whipping cream, icing sugar and vanilla extract to whip it. You can use either a hand or stand mixer. Refrigerate it for at least 30 minutes before serving so that it is cold. This apple Snickers salad is crunchy, tart, creamy and sweet at the same time.
