Pomegranate hibiscus punch

by Effy A

This pomegrantate hibiscus punch is a super refreshing drink to have for the summer time. It is slightly tart and not too sweet, and very family-friendly since it has zero alcohol. I love how this hibiscus punch reminds me of cranberry juice. I used steeped hibiscus tea, fresh pomegranates, lime juice and Fanta orange in this drink recipe. Blend all the ingredients until really smooth and strain for a nicer finish.

Before starting this drink recipe, start taking out the seeds out of the pomegranate since it takes quite a while. I used only one pomegranate but you can use up to two pomegranates. The hibiscus juice is from steeping hibiscus tea bags in hot water for a few hours to extract the hibiscus tea. Once you have gotten the hibiscus extract, then throw away the tea bags. Then sweeten the hibiscus tea with lots of sugar. Just blend all the ingredients in a large blender until smooth and then serve over ice as preferred. Strain this hibiscus punch for a super smooth finish or leave it as it is for a fresher, fruiter vibe. Serve chilled over ice cubes.

If you love hibiscus, you will love my hibiscus coffee mocktail as well.
