I made this recipe the day that I craved garlic bread and pizza in one sitting, so I made it all-in-one. Meet this pepperoni pizza garlic bread: It is like eating a pan pizza without going through the hassle of making one from scratch. It’s so epic and a great thing to munch on with a glass of chilled wine.
The best types of bread for a crunchy garlic bread are those breads with a firmer crust. So think Baguette, ciabatta, or other Italian bread, and avoid softer breads like Brioche. This garlic bread is spread with tomato sauce and lots of cheese so you need bread that can withhold all that grease. You will need lots of fresh herbs like rosemary, parsley or basil. The more the merrier, with this recipe. Mix the herbs with butter and minced garlic to form a garlic herb spread.
Cut the bread in half lengthwise and spread this garlic herb spread across the top pf each half. Then add your cheese, tomato sauce, pepperoni slices and top it all off with more cheese. I stuck with just mozzarella cheese but you can also you use Parmesan or Jack Monterey cheese. Let the bread rest when it comes out of the oven for a bit, because it is so soft when it is hot. Then slice each bread half into smaller sizes with a sharp serrated knife. Enjoy these pizza garlic bread bites with your favorite dipping sauce like ranch, sweet and sour or barbecue sauce.

Notes
The leftovers for this garlic bread don't taste too bad but this recipe is best served on the day it is made. It is a finger food so it is better if it is served fresh.
