This mixed berry lemonade is made with a mixture of four berries: raspberries, blueberries, strawberries, and blackberries. A typical blended lemonade is usually strained afterwards, but I loved the slightly fruity texture in this. As a result, this berry lemonade was slightly thicker but I could taste bits of fruit so it made it fun to drink. You will need to squeeze fresh lemons to make this lemonade. For best results, use frozen fruit so it keeps things super chilled.
You will need a high-speed blender with a 2 liter capacity so it can contain everything. Also if you haven’t invested in a citrus squeezer, it’s never a bad time to start. I love this article from The Spruce Eats which walks you through all the types of citrus juicers you can get your hands on. You also need a sweetener because lemon juice on its own is extremely sour. The sweetener choices are endless from maple syrup or honey to homemade syrups. I would recommend my brown sugar simple syrup or strawberry syrup for this mixed berry lemonade.
