Cinnamon banana overnight oats

by Effy A

This banana overnight oats has banana, cinnamon, oats and milk. It’s so easy because the fridge does all the work for you. I used rolled oats for this recipe.

So in a previous overnight oats recipe, I didn’t recommend using rolled oats. I was living in Canada at the time and the rolled oats didn’t soften when I did the recipe. However, I’m in Ghana now and the rolled oats here did soften overnight. Not sure what that means but I think rolled oats may work in certain parts of the world. So if your rolled oats does get soft overnight, use rolled oats for this recipe. If not, just stick to instant/quick oats.

You will need 2 large bananas for this banana overnight oats recipe. Just mash them and add them to the oats mixture. It’s much smoother that way. You can also dice the banana if you want a chunkier texture in your oats. Using banana milk can make this really cool and fun. I used half a teaspoon of ground cinnamon but feel free to add more if cinnamon is really your thing.

Another overnight oats recipe is my Nutella overnight oats.
