Air fryer sweet potato fries

by Effy A

These air fryer sweet potato fries are so crisp on the outside and soft in the middle. These yummy fries are ready in less than 30 minutes and are so easy! All you need is a bit of salt and oil and you’re good to go! You can substitute the oil with cooking spray. The best thing about this recipe is that these fries can be served with a myriad of dishes to make your day!

I peeled and then cut the sweet potatoes into matchstick shapes to resemble fries. This way it also allows it to cook evenly. I used my air fryer because I was really hungry and didn’t want to wait long for my lunch. The oil prevents it form being a bit dry and of course salt gives it flavor. I’ve also tried adding garlic powder to these sweet potato fries and it works too! I air fried them in two batches since it was a large serving.

You can serve these with roast meat as a dinner or as a side to anything savory. These air fryer sweet potato fries were awesome! I highly recommend making loaded fries out of these by stacking them with grated cheese, then baking until the cheese melts. Check out my airfryer plantain recipe too!
